Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trado, creating an account (email or Continue with Google), posting a listing, or contacting other users, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of Pakistan. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

3. Accounts & Sign-In

• You may register with email and password, or sign in with Continue with Google.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts or impersonate others.
• Google sign-in is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.

4. The Trado Service

Trado is an online classifieds marketplace that lets users publish listings and connect with interested buyers or sellers in Pakistan. We are not a party to transactions between users, do not take possession of items, and do not guarantee that any user will complete a deal.

5. Posting Listings

When you post, you confirm that you own the item (or have the right to sell or exchange it) and that your listing is accurate and lawful. You may not post:

• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or related accessories where restricted.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia.
• Stolen, counterfeit, or unauthorized replica goods.
• Adult, pornographic, or sexually exploitative content.
• Financial scams, fake jobs, phishing, or deceptive offers.
• Anything illegal to advertise or sell under Pakistani law or applicable local rules.

Photos and text must fairly represent the item. Misleading prices, bait listings, or stolen images are not allowed.

6. Contact Between Users

Buyers reach sellers using the contact methods the seller enables on a listing (for example phone and/or WhatsApp). Treat other users respectfully. Do not harass, spam, or misuse contact details obtained through Trado.

7. Fees, Featured Ads & Payments

• Posting a standard listing is free unless we clearly state otherwise.
• Optional featured ads may be offered for a fee. Durations and prices are shown before you pay.
• Feature payments (for example JazzCash / EasyPaisa as configured) are reviewed by our team. Fees are generally non-refundable once approved, except where required by law.
• You agree not to submit false payment proof or attempt to circumvent fees.

8. Advertising on Trado

Trado may display third-party advertisements, including Google Ads / AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties and may be personalized based on cookies and similar technologies. See our Privacy Policy for details. We are not responsible for third-party advertiser websites or offers.

9. Transactions & Safety

Buying and selling happen directly between users. Trado does not guarantee condition, quality, legality, authenticity, or safety of any item, and is not responsible for disputes, non-payment, or non-delivery. Meet in safe public places, inspect items before paying, and avoid advance payments to strangers.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post fraudulent, misleading, or illegal listings.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or exploit other users.
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to Trado without our written permission.
• Interfere with site security, rate limits, or other users' accounts.
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
• Use Trado to collect personal data for spam or unrelated marketing.

11. Content License

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Trado a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and promote that content on and in connection with the service for as long as it remains on Trado (including backups and legal retention).

12. Intellectual Property

Trado's name, logos, design, and software are protected. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except for fair personal use of the public site interface.

13. Reports & Enforcement

We may remove listings, reject feature requests, limit visibility, or suspend/terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create risk — with or without prior notice. You may report ads using the report tools on the site.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trado and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or any user-to-user transaction.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Trado harmless from claims arising out of your listings, your conduct, your transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date on this page reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts in Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
